Silent Adventure
is a small electric
river
launch with seating for up to four adults.
The boat was built 2003 in Norfolk by Paul Morton
A Briggs & Stratton Etek motor (Lynch design) running at 26 volts via a 4QD speed controller
provides a top speed of approx. 10kph.
Power is provided by two ReLion
LiFePo4 26.8V 50Ah lithium phosphate batteries arranged as two
independent banks with separate isolator switches. A Victron Energy BMV-712
Smart Bluetooth energy meter displays
motor current consumption battery
voltage & Amp/hour capacity and cruising time remaining.
Charging from mains power is by a Ctek portable automatic switch-mode battery charger. |
