A Briggs & Stratton Etek motor (Lynch design) running at 24 volts via a 4QD speed controller gives a
the boat top speed of approx. 10kph.
Power is provided by four 38AH lead-acid gel batteries arranged
as two independent banks with separate isolator switches. A pair of LCD
digital panel meters display motor current consumption and battery voltage.
Charging from mains power is by a portable automatic battery charger. |
